The Doncaster ABP team spread a little Christmas cheer by cooking and serving Christmas lunch to 30 local people who are supported by M25, a charity for the homeless.

A team from ABP Doncaster donned their Christmas hats and jumpers and travelled to Wharf House to cook and serve Christmas lunch to 30 local people who are supported by M25.

M25 is a charity that has worked in Doncaster since 1994, to prevent homelessness in the local area.

Jane Kilkenny, PA at ABP Doncaster and organiser of the event, commented: “Christmas is the time for giving, so we were really keen to get involved with this great cause and hopefully bring a little bit of festive joy to those who don’t have anything this Christmas. The day was a huge success overall, everyone turned up in their Christmas hats and jumpers and everyone helped to clean up too – there was a real feel of camaraderie to the day!

“Christmas is a busy time here at ABP Doncaster, we pack enough beef to stretch from Doncaster to the North Pole and then some! But despite being busy, we were keen to ensure we also invested in our community to help spread Christmas cheer to those less fortunate.”
