Dawn Meats, Tulip and Linden Foods honoured at food industry awards

Linden Foods, Tulip Ltd and Dawn Meats were amongst the winners honoured at the Food Management Today Food Industry Awards 2015 in London, hosted by rugby legend and Celebrity MasterChef Phil Vickery MBE.

Tulip’s product for Marks & Spencer, M&S Made Without Wheat, Gluten Free 2 Scotch Eggs won the Best New Product Development Category and Morrisons’  Signature Range Creamy Pesto & Cherry Tomato Chicken from Linden Foods was winner of Best Poultry Product. Dawn Meats’ was victorious in the Best Red Meat category with its ASDA Extra Special British Gammon Shanks with Kentish Dry Cider & Apple Sauce.

Kristian Gabrielsen, Asda account manager for Dawn Meats said: “We are delighted to receive this award for ‘Best Red Meat Product’. It is testament to our dedicated team, who are passionate about innovation and who work throughout the year with enthusiasm and pride to create award winning quality products that offer consumers real convenience.”

Food Management Today is the sister magazine to Meat Management and its prestigious Awards Luncheon was held at Plasisterers’ Hall in London, where 250 guests from food manufacturers, processors, trade organisations, suppliers and foodservice. Those attending were also treated to a first class starter course, courtesy of Cherry Valley Foods and a superb main course of Scotch beef supplied by QMS and ABP Perth.
