Hilton Food Group joins with Woolworths in Australia
Australia’s largest retailer and Hilton Food Group, meat packers for Tesco, are joining forces in a new company called Woolworths Meat Co Pty Ltd.
The company will operate the Bunbury Meat Centre at Bunbury near Perth in Western Australia. Bunbury presently supplies 84 Woolworths stores with a range of fresh meat including beef, lamb, port and value-added products. The Hilton board says it believes there are good opportunities for further collaboration with Woolworths in Australia through the new venture.
