Adie, who is most famous for her role as BBC’s chief news correspondent, is ideally placed to give an insight into how she has forged inroads for women working in the media and pioneered reporting from the frontlines for BBC. She is also the long-serving presenter of Radio 4’s From Our Own Correspondent and a guest on many other radio and television programmes.

She will be joined by Kantar Worldpanel’s consumer insight director, Lucy Balls, who be presenting on some of the practical factors affecting the meat trade generally and providing an insight into female and male consumption trends, both generally and with a focus on meat too.

The event will promote enhanced relationships with other links in the supply chain with the key objectives to nurture new female entrants in the sector, assist in making our industry attractive to female talent and professionally improve networking.
