More exhibitors book the MEATUP show

Reiser UK is the latest major exhibitor to back the second presentation of MEATUP, the dedicated meat industry exhibition which this year moves to the NEC on 2nd / 3rd July. The company has booked the biggest stand on the current floorplan and will use the two day show to present a range of equipment from its extensive range, including leading packaging and processing equipment brands.

Reiser UK's Ken Mossford: "We want to support MEATUP and use this valuable opportunity to meet customers and potential customers to discuss ideas and production solutions, in what remains a demanding and challenging market."

The managing director of Reiser UK, Ken Mossford, was enthusiastic about the coming show this July saying: “A great deal has been happening at Reiser and, as an exhibition specifically dedicated to the meat industry, we want to support MEATUP and use this valuable opportunity to meet customers and potential customers to discuss ideas and production solutions, in what remains a demanding and challenging market.

“We see MEATUP as more than just an exhibition, and the organisers are really structuring a two day event which has many factors to it. For example we are also a sponsor of the Meat Management Industry Awards and will have a table at the Awards Dinner which takes place on the evening of 2nd July at the Hilton Metropole. It’s an outstanding networking opportunity for everyone at all levels and we are very excited about being part of it.”

Raps UK is another exhibitor recently booked for MEATUP. Ian Mackway comments: “We were at the first MEATUP in 2011 which was at the Stoneleigh complex. We had a very good show, but the move to the NEC takes MEATUP to another level. I particularly like the fact that not only are we at a world class venue, but there are a wide range of added value attractions for visitors including top class craft butchery competitions, the Meat Management Awards dinner and the EBLEX conference. The free bacon butty breakfast each day and free parking for pre-registered visitors are also very good ideas.”

Lewis Bourne of Genfrost is yet another exhibitor looking forward to July 2nd & 3rd: “Genfrost UK Ltd, is part of the Genfrost World Wide Group and in the UK we are exclusive main agents for Genfrost, ES SYSTEM K and Lenari Products. We have made a major investment developing products that are reliable, cost effective and attractive. We also have many energy saving solutions available. We see the MEATUP exhibition as a key opportunity to meet new customers as well as existing customers, and are really looking forward to a positive two days.”

Freund UK, who supply a range of equipment to the meat industry, also has high expectations, having booked to exhibit at MEATUP this year. Formerly trading as Brighter UK, Freund UK offers customers a range of products to meet the demands of the modern abattoir and wider food sectors. Ashley Fox the company’s managing director comments: “It is vital to communicate with the industry and we believe MEATUP will be a great place to network and talk to visitors about their requirements and business opportunities. We offer an excellent range of high quality German slaughter and breaking tools and also maintain the excellent customer service and range of Brighter products. Roll on MEATUP, which we are sure will be a good two days for visitors and exhibitors.”

Dave Mason of Towers Thompson: "MEATUP could not come at a better time for the trade."

Meat wholesaler Towers Thompson will also be one exhibitor keen to reassure visitors on quality and provenance in today’s market: Dave Mason of Towers Thompson depots comments: “MEATUP could not come at a better time for the trade. We all know there has been much negative publicity in recent weeks which can overshadow the positive. We will use MEATUP to reinforce our message and our product range including our own brands of UK produced Kingdom Extra Matured Beef, Kingdom Premium English Poultry, Kingdom U Grade English Lambs, as well as our own Towers Thompson branded beef, lamb, pork and poultry vacuum packed chilled products.”
