New POS Christmas kit from EBLEX now available

EBLEX is inviting butchers to entice their customers to choose assured beef and lamb this Christmas with a festive point-of-sale kit.

The Christmas kit, which will be dispatched to Quality Standard Mark Scheme registered butchers week commencing 12th November, includes an ‘opening times’ chart for your front door, a window banner, two posters, a selection of recipe cards and 80 copies of the most recent Simply recipe booklets for your customers to take away.

The featured cuts are roasting joints – topside and rump of beef and leg and crown roast of lamb. Cooked with the addition of glazes, crusts and spices, the posters are designed to inspire your customers to want to serve these dishes up during the festive period. There are accompanying recipe cards with step-by-step instructions to make things easy.

The Christmas kit will also include 100 copies of a new leaflet ‘Discover the Excellence of Lamb’, featuring two recipes premium cuts of lamb that deliver quality and value: Premium Lemon and Thyme Lamb Cutlets with Potato, Mint and Pea Salad and Paprika and Rosemary Premium Roast Lamb with Cognac Gravy. The leaflet also includes a competition for customers to enter, giving them the chance to win one of 200 quality carvery sets.

Mike Whittemore, trade team marketing manager for EBLEX, said: “The Christmas period is a great opportunity for butchers to profit and displaying the point-of-sale material prominently in store should help to boost sales.

“Don’t forget, Christmas is an ideal time to promote a range of stocks and sauces to accompany beef and lamb. Make sure you stock up on cranberry and mint sauce, gravy, horseradish, mustard and stuffing, to add value to your customers’ shopping experience – and to your bottom line.”
