New website for Danish Agriculture and Food Council

The Danish Agriculture and Food Council has just relaunched its website, and now provides both industry news updates and topical content relating to the Danish pig industry.

The website – www.agricultureandfood.co.uk – has a business to business focus and includes pages for statistics, market research and quality assurance information.

Visitors to the new site can also use it as a Danish pig industry news channel, which will provide the latest relevant data and stories in subjects like animal welfare, food safety, risk management on a farm and the environment. The site will also be a platform for topical, opinion-based content, written in blog form.

The website will still maintain its traditional role as a ‘go to’ source for authoritative information and background on the Danish pig industry.

In addition, the site includes a media centre, where users will find an archive of press releases, key facts and figures, and a series of useful links.

Robert Smith, the UK market director for the Danish Agriculture and Food Council, said: “Our aim for the website is to ensure that it is interesting, relevant and thought-provoking.

“If you can find any time to visit, it would be great to hear your initial impressions, and, of course, any ideas you may have for improving the website would be very welcome.”
