Online international beef and lamb reports launched by EBLEX
Online country reports for the major beef and sheep meat producing, consuming and trading nations have been launched by EBLEX to help levy payers make key business decisions.
The reports, which can be found in the market information section of www.eblex.org.uk, provide valuable information about beef cattle and sheep populations, slaughtering and production and trade in beef and sheep products and live animals.
Producer beef and sheep meat prices and the outlook for production in the countries featured, such as the USA, New Zealand, Australia and France, are also included. The reports replace the biannual International Meat Market Review, published by the Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board (AHDB), and will be updated at regular intervals when new information becomes available.

“They will help levy payers make informed business decisions by providing quick and up-to-date information on production, consumption and livestock numbers in each market. In addition, they will feature the outlook for the year ahead for each country covered.”
