Peter Shilton to present Meat Management Industry Awards
This year’s guest speaker at the prestigious Meat Management Industry Awards will be the sporting legend and former England goalkeeper, Peter Shilton MBE.
Sporting legend, Peter Shilton MBE will be hosting this year’s Meat Management Industry Awards on 2nd July 2013.
Whilst playing for England, Peter earned a record 125 international caps, a feat which no England player has come close to matching since. He’s also appeared in Let’s Dance for Sports Relief, Celebrity Come Dine With Me and Strictly Come Dancing.
Meat Management’s publisher, Graham Yandell said: “Having Peter join us for our Awards Dinner in Birmingham on 2nd July is great news. He’s one of the finest goalkeepers ever to play for England and is an all round ambassador for sport in general so a most appropriate guest for our event, which will also be rewarding the best. I know he will have some revealing and funny anecdotes to entertain the 400 guests we expect on the night.”
This year the prestigious and popular Awards Dinner will take place on the evening of the first night of the MEATUP exhibition in Birmingham. The show is located at the NEC from 2nd-3rd July and the Awards presentation will be at the nearby Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
