Scotch Beef PGI to showcase at FMT food awards

Quality Meat Scotland has confirmed its support of the Food Management Industry Awards lunch and presentation ceremony this coming January.

Scotch Beef PGI which will be supplied by ABP, will be in pride of place as the main course choice selected for the prestigious Awards ceremony at Plaisterers Hall when around 250 guests are expected to celebrate excellence in 15 food categories.

Uel Morton, chief executive of Quality Meat Scotland said: “Next year we will be celebrating Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink and also the 25th anniversary of the quality assurance schemes which underpin the Scotch Beef, Scotch Lamb and Specially Selected Pork brands. It is therefore particularly fitting that we showcase Scotch Beef at this exciting and prestigious London event and we are delighted to be involved.”
