With an exhibition size of over 284,000 m², the trade fair attracts over 155,000 trade visitors from 180 countries, making it a major event for many of Europe’s most influential buyers.

Exporters will be joined by staff and European agents from QMS to promote the Scottish red meat industry to buyers and traders from across the globe.

According to Laurent Vernet, QMS Head of Marketing, Anuga offers a valuable opportunity to reinforce and strengthen the Scotch brand on the world market.

“Every major meat exporter in the world is in Cologne during this week. It is therefore very important that Scotland’s exporters have a strong presence at the show, highlighting what sets Scotch Beef and Scotch Lamb apart from competitors in terms of quality and reputation.

“Scottish exporters have been making excellent progress in growing the market for Scotch Beef and Lamb which now enjoys strong trade awareness on the continent.

“Anuga is a fantastic platform to build on that progress and offers exporters the opportunity to secure valuable business.”
