Sykes House Farm recalls Yorkshire Outdoor Six Pork Sausages

Sykes House Farm has recalled its Yorkshire Outdoor Six Pork Sausages due to a labelling error.

The recall specifically refers to Sykes House Farm’s Yorkshire Outdoor Six Pork Sausages, 380g, with a use-by date of 25th July 2016. The product should have been dated 25th June 2016.

On 27th June, the company recalled its Smiths Beef & Caramelised Onion Burgers for the same reason.

The company will display point-of-sale recall notices in stores where the product is sold.

In its statement Sykes House Farm said: “Due to the wrong expiry date being printed on the label, Yorkshire Outdoor Six Yorkshire Pork Sausages with a use-by date of 25th July 2016 is being recalled.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standards of product safety and quality.

Customers who have purchased the product should not eat it and are advised to contact Sykes House Farm’s customer relations team for a full refund.
