Tadmarton launches own brand Prime Matured Selected English Beef

Tadmarton Products Ltd recently launched its new TP Prime Matured Selected English Beef at an open day at its Banbury facility.

Tadmarton Products invited customers and suppliers to attend a, primarily to launch the new beef range, but also to showcase a selection of suppliers and their produce. Tours of the facility in Banbury, with its large warehouse and production area, displaying the diverse range of fresh and frozen meats and poultry were a feature throughout the day.

Anglo Beef Processors (ABP) Langport were available to answer questions on the partnership between themselves, Tadmarton and EBLEX and the launch of this new beef range, which has been developed to ensure a true English brand which is fully traceable and of consistent quality. This range meets all the requirements of the EBLEX Quality Standard Mark Scheme. Only beef reared, transported and processed through a fully assured and independently inspected supply chain is allowed to carry this mark.

Mike Richardson, independent retail sector manager for EBLEX was instrumental in promoting and coordinating the marketing and launch of the new Prime Matured Beef Range, culminating in the open day at Tadmarton Products.

Other suppliers who attended included Nick and Maria Davis of Usk Vale Poultry, who displayed their fresh turkey in the newly designed box and presented a cooked turkey for customers to sample. John Brough from Natures Oils also bought along his complete range of Taste of Goodness Sauces for everyone to sample.

The EBLEX exhibition vehicle was used by Gary Taylor, Eagles of Deddington, for a session of informative butchery demonstrations, presenting the versatility of a TP prime beef knuckle joint by preparing it into a variety of cuts, including a mini roast, steaks and diced beef. These cuts were cooked off by Chef Jean Pierre of Blunsdon House Hotel and along with a slow cooked boeuf bourguignon and a provençal cassoulet were served for Tadmarton customers to taste and enjoy.

Managing director of Tadmarton Products, Mike Mourant commented, “I am delighted with the interest and support from our customers and suppliers who all made this day such a success.”
