Dunbia invests in food development
Northern Irish meat processing firm, Dunbia, will invest close to half a million pounds to strengthen its Food Development team.
The investment will see new positions for innovation project managers, food technologists and an innovation chef, who will be responsible for conceiving, championing and developing new technologies in food processing as well as innovative products and concepts.

Announcing the investment, deputy chief executive Tony O’Neill said: “Dunbia is a company driven by entrepreneurial vision and innovation. This latest investment highlights our continued commitment to exploring innovative ideas and driving the sector forward.
“The new roles will align closely with our current business model but will keep us at the forefront by modifying existing products and processes as well as developing new and exciting products and concepts for the benefit of consumers.”
Sales and marketing director at Dunbia, Michael Doran, added: “This is an exciting step for Dunbia in terms of driving our innovation strategies and ensuring we continue to meet and exceed customer demands.

The company, which has 11 sites across the UK and Ireland and over 22,000 producers, also recently launched a new graduate programme, ONE360, to give graduates experience across all aspects of the company’s operations.
