Due to substantial demand and to accommodate as many products as possible this year, organisers of the 2026 meat industry awards have extended the final deadline for products to be nominated until Thursday 18th June.

All products are entered free of charge and details of how to nominate can be found here.

Manufacturers, processors and foodservice along with butchers, supermarkets and independent retailers can now nominate their products up to the extended deadline of 18th June in one or more of this year’s categories.

Those nominating products will then receive detailed information on how to deliver entries to the Regional Food Academy at Harper Adams University on Tuesday 23rd June.

Britain’s Best Burger

Britain’s Best Meat Pie

Best Bacon Product

Best Free From Product

Best Charcuterie Product

Best Poultry Product

Best Beef Product

Best Pork/Pigmeat Product

Best Lamb Product

There is also a Best Red Meat Product category, with the overall winner selected from the winners of the beef, pork and lamb categories.

Products that are entered will be assessed against strict criteria by a judging panel, with the panel ultimately determining this year’s category winners and finalists.

Winners of each category will receive a bespoke Meat Management Meat Industry Awards 2026 trophy and a winners’ logo, for use on any promotional material. Winners are also reviewed editorially in the 2026 Awards Review published in Meat Management magazine.
