JBS USA pays hackers $11m to resolve cyberattack
The world’s largest meat supplier, JBS USA, has confirmed that it paid the equivalent of $11 million in ransom following the criminal attack on its IT systems at the end of May.

Brazilian pork exports up in the first half of 2020
In the first half of this year, Brazilian fresh/frozen pork exports were nearly 40% higher compared with the same period in 2019, at 421,000 tonnes, according to AHDB’s senior analyst for red meat, Bethan Wilkins.
