Awards will be presented for product entered into the following categories: Britain’s Best Sausage, Britain’s Best Burger, Britain’s Best Meat Pie, Best Lamb Product, Best Beef Product, Best Pork Product, Best Red Meat Product, Best Poultry Product, Best Bacon Product and Best Free-From Meat Product.

In addition, Meat Management’s readers can vote for companies and individuals in the following additional categories: The Catering Butcher Award, Manufacturer of the Year, Best Equipment/Machinery Supplier, Best Trade Organisation, Best Online Business, Supermarket/Multiple Meat Retailer of the Year, Britain’s Best Butcher’s Shop, Training Scheme of the Year, Young Manager of the Year and The Excellence Award.

Awards organiser, Emma Cash, commented: “I would strongly recommend readers who have not yet entered products to enter as soon as possible.

“You can do it online, it’s free and once you’ve registered we’ll be in touch to let you what you need to do next. It’s so simple and we are keen to ensure all supermarkets, manufacturers, retailers and processors don’t miss out.

“We’re confident our judges will be kept busy when it comes to testing and tasting at Harper Adams University but we know there are still many great products out there so make sure you participate.”
