Marks and Spencer recalls chicken soup

Marks and Spencer has issued a recall on its chicken and vegetable soup 600g as a precautionary measure, following a taint caused by a possible chemical contamination.

M&S has recalled its chicken and vegetable soup.

According to the notice, the affected item will have a Unique Product Code of ‘00711135’ and a use-by date of 30/03/2017.

The Food Standard Agency’s advice to customers is to “not eat” the product, but instead “return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.”

Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stories, which are selling the product, explaining the reasons for the recall and offering advice.
