MM Meat Industry Awards product deadline 6th March
With the final deadline for product nominations and voting this week, YPL Exhibitions & Events are reminding participants that those wishing to enter products or vote should act without delay.

Emma Cash of YPL, the event organiser, told Meat Management: “Nominations for product entries are in full swing. This is the biggest event of its kind serving the UK meat sector and the deadline of 6th March for nominating products is the last chance to be involved this year.
“Winners will be recognised at the prestigious annual Awards ceremony and black tie dinner which is is scheduled for Thursday 27th June 2019 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, with over 400 guests expected.”
Headed up by Chief Judge and CEO of the Institute of Meat, Keith Fisher, Keith said he was looking forward to this year’s judging. “It is always a highlight of my year to be involved with the Meat Management Industry Awards. Every year we see different trends and different types of product. However there is still room for great traditional products and we will be looking for the best of the best once again.”

Emma Cash points out that: “Winners can expect a massive boost in business, as can the category finalists, once all results are revealed at the prestigious ceremony. Entering products for the Awards is really easy and is free. As usual multiple entries are available for different products too.
“However the key message is to get those products nominated and entered now by going online to the website. Entry is free and multiple products can be nominated. This really is the big one and the accolade to win as far as the meat industry is concerned.”
