Scotland’s first minister Nicola Sturgeon becomes a “Lambassador” after she is presented with a Scotch Lambassador kit by Hamish Dykes.

During a visit to South Slipperfield Farm, West Linton, run by the Dykes family, Sturgeon was presented with a Scotch Lambassador kit, which includes a Scotch Lamb apron, a Scotch Lamb t-shirt and a copy of QMS’s new Guide to Scotch Lamb, featuring a collection of recipes. The kits are being offered on a first come first serve basis, free of charge to Scottish farming families by QMS.

Richard Lochhead, Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Food and the Environment has also recently become a ‘Lambassador’ recruit.

“We are delighted the First Minister and the Cabinet Secretary are offering their support to the industry’s collective effort to encourage many more Scots to enjoy one of the most natural and delicious foods in Scotland’s larder,” said Jim McLaren, chairman of QMS.
