WCB Master Geoff Gillo visits Meat Management

Master of the Worshipful Company of Butchers (WCB), Geoff Gillo, visited Yandell Media Group, home of Meat Management magazine, on 26th February.

The Master toured the company’s offices, learning about the production process and meeting the team behind the magazine.

During the visit, Meat Management publisher Graham Yandell and director Rob Yandell presented the Master with a framed copy of an interview feature which was printed in the January/February edition of the magazine.

With his visit coinciding with press day for the March edition, the Master also enjoyed an exclusive preview of the publication before it reached the printers and had the opportunity to assist in the final ‘sign-off’ of the editorial and advertising pages.

Rob, who is also an assistant to the Court of WCB, said: “It has been a pleasure hosting the Master at our offices today. The fact Geoff has taken the time to visit the home of Meat Management reinforces the strong relationship we have with the Livery. We all want a thriving industry and I know that WCB is focused on adapting and evolving to ensure it is relevant and appealing to existing and prospective members.”

The Master added: “It was a pleasure to visit Meat Management’s offices today. I was most impressed by the dedication and attitude displayed by the team and it was interesting to gain insight into how the publication is produced. Thank you to Graham and Rob for hosting me and I look forward to continuing to work together during my term as Master and beyond.”

The Master assisted publisher Graham Yandell and editor Emily Ansell Elfer with passing Meat Management March for press.
