Since then she has cooked all around the world.

Rachel is a very popular figure in the culinary world, with an international audience for her bestselling cookery books and food writing, her live demonstrations and of course her much-loved television programmes. In addition, Rachel’s recipes and writing have been published across a wide range of magazines and she currently writes a weekly food column for the Sunday Independent.

Lead organiser of the Women In Meat Industry Awards Sharon Yandell said: “We could not be more delighted to be able to announce that Rachel is to host this very special and unique evening, when the exceptional talent across the meat industry will once again be celebrated. We expect a sell-out dinner and ceremony this year, so booking tables and tickets early is strongly recommended.”
