Bernard Matthews appoints new CEO
Major poultry producer Bernard Matthews has announced the appointment Chris Just as its new chief executive officer.
Just has enjoyed a long career in the meat industry, having initially worked in factory management and as an operations director for several cooked meat businesses.
He later led Tranfoods and Parkam Food Group during periods of development and has also served as commercial director at Browns Food Group.

Just, who was also awarded an honorary fellowship by the Royal Society of Arts in 2008, commented: “I’m excited by this new challenge and the great opportunity to build on the heritage of this much-loved British brand.
“My intension is to create a solid foundation upon which we can grow the business and make Bernard Matthews great again.”

“His track record demonstrates his determination to drive food businesses forward and in doing so help them fulfill their potential.”
