A Gala Dinner held at Butchers’ Hall featured a six course meal to raise funds for the BDCI.
BDCI festival chairman, Norman Hatcliff, (standing in above picture) said: “We had a wonderful evening at Butchers’ Hall; stunning food, delicious wines, a classic setting and fantastic company.
“I am delighted with the success of the Gala Dinner which I am sure, if repeated in the future could grow in popularity as a “must go” dinner, an event not to be missed!
“The auction and raffle raised over £800 and I would like to thank all of our guests for their interest and support given to the BDCI.
“I would also like to mention that we do have two other fun(d) raising events planned for the year. The Golf Day on 17th September at Surrey Downs and the Festival Dinner, the highpoint of the year, at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London on 31st October.
“Places for teams of four or individuals are still available for the Golf Day and tickets are now on sale for the Festival Dinner priced at £160 which includes entry into an amazing raffle for a car – so please do book now to secure your tickets for this fabulous evening.”
