Changes announced at Soanes Poultry
East Yorkshire based poultry supplier, Soanes Poultry, has promoted Petra Kdr to the new position of continuous improvement officer.
Kdr joined Soanes Poultry in 2012 and previously worked in quality improvement and primary processing roles. In her new position, Kdr will be responsible for supporting the company’s senior management team in improving efficiency across the business, as well as assisting with new product development and project management.
The move is the latest in a series of appointments within Soanes Poultry, having named Simon Rodgers as the company’s new operations manager in September, as well as promoting existing finance director, Claire Wright, to the position of general manager for its broiler division, Clive Soanes Broilers Ltd, back in June.
Commenting on her new role, Petra Kdr said: “My experience in operations from slaughter to packing will be very useful in this new role as I support the senior management team in their bid for continuous quality improvement.”
Soanes Poultry’s managing director, Nigel Upson, added: “Petra has been a valued member of the Soanes team for nearly a decade and her well-deserved promotion comes as we enter the final phase of a two-year expansion plan that will increase production by 20% and create 15 new jobs.
“Petra will be working on new product development, project management and efficiency studies as we continue to grow our business.”
