The National Craft Butchers (NCB) has officially announced its new chief executive, Corrine Stuart, who has taken over from Roger Kelsey.

New Project 7

Stuart joins NCB from the Countryside Alliance where she held the position of commercial director for two years. With over 100,000 members, the Countryside Alliance is a British organisation promoting issues relating to the countryside such as farming and rural services.

Commenting on her new position, Stuart said: “I am thrilled to be joining National Craft Butchers as chief executive. This year members have gone above and beyond to keep the nation fed, supporting their communities and looking after the welfare of customers.

"We will build upon the great work done by Roger, the National Craft Butcher’s team and the executive.”

Kelsey stepped down as chief executive earlier this month, and he spoke to Meat Management about his time at NCB in an exclusive interview which can be read here.
