Danish Minster for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries (FVM), Mette Gjerskov and Chinese Minister Han have reached agreement to cooperate further on livestock production, with particular emphasis on pig farming.

The areas the two countries have agreed to focus on include promoting and researching collaborations between their respective agricultural institutions, exchanging policies and technologies relating to quality and safety, intensifying exchanges in the fields of animal disesase control technology and the management of veterinary drugs.

The deal follows the visit of the Chinese minister to Copenhagen.
