The EBLEX Quality Standard Mark (QSM) scheme has announced the appointment of Deanna Girgan as Quality Schemes executive.
Girgan, who has 20 years of experience in the food industry, will work with members to ensure they are fully benefiting from the programme.
The QSM scheme for beef and lamb provides one of the highest levels of independently-inspected quality assurance for meat in the UK.
Laura Ryan, EBLEX marketing manager quality schemes, said: “The QSM scheme continues to go from strength to strength. The entire supply chain benefits, from the farmer through to the consumer and I’m delighted to welcome Deanna to the team to help develop that further.”
