EBLEX Global Forum event reports high ticket demand

Global Forum 2013, organised by EBLEX and agri benchmark is reporting a high demand for tickets with over 100 delegates already registered. The free event highlights global beef and lamb sector trends and developments, and takes place on Wednesday 19th June in York.

Presentations will be made on topics such as global key market trends, the future of European agricultural policy and latest developments in the UK beef and lamb sectors.

EBLEX head of trade development Peter Hardwick will examine export trade developments and opportunities. Other presentations will include global meat production, Russia’s and China’s beef and sheep market, and perspectives for the Brazilian and US beef production.

Mark Topliff, EBLEX/AHDB head of inputs and production economics, said: “The Global Forum plays an important role in giving perspectives on subjects such as global costs of production and market trends. It provides delegates with a greater understanding of the key markets that affect them and consequently can influence business and trading decisions. Places are going quickly and I would urge anyone with an industry interest who has not already registered to do so to avoid disappointment.”

Places are available on a first come, first served basis. To register your interest in attending contact Alex Mobbs at EBLEX on 024 7647 8819 or e-mail alex.mobbs@eblex.ahdb.org.uk.
