EBLEX trade marketing now on Twitter and Facebook

EBLEX trade marketing has set up new Facebook and Twitter pages to enable scheme members and other stakeholders to interact directly with the team and keep up-to-date with latest news, events and information.

PR and digital executive for EBLEX, Sally Crowther, said: “It is very important that we are able to engage with industry, and social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter offer an ideal forum for us to do so.

“The EBLEX Trade website is packed full of news, information, tools and resources for industry to use, but Facebook and Twitter are more interactive, allowing us to open conversations with our followers as well as highlighting new initiatives and forthcoming events.”

It will also be used to promote latest resources including recipe books and industry guides, as well as information about the Quality Standard Mark Scheme for beef and lamb and the availability of promotional materials for scheme members.

Newly developed beef and lamb cuts will also be featured, along with recipe ideas and cooking tips.

The new social media channels dedicated to trade marketing complement the popular Twitter feed @EblexTweets, already used to deliver messages to levy payers and industry stakeholders.
