Nine catering students from UK colleges will be competing in the final of the 2015 British Turkey Student Chef of the Year cook-off, taking place at University College Birmingham on 28th May.

Competitors have to create a starter and main course using British Turkey meat and adhere to this year’s theme of 'pirates.' The winning dishes will be recreated at the annual British Turkey Awards ceremony held at The Dorchester on 24th September 2015.
The two winners (for the Best Starter/Best Main Course categories) will receive £300 of Russums catering vouchers while their colleges each receive £500 of Russums vouchers. The winners will also receive two days work experience at The Dorchester and the chance to see their dishes served at the awards dinner to over 300 guests and VIPs from British Turkey and related industries.
