The ceremony will be co-presented by former UK sprinter and Olympic medallist, Katharine Merry, along with publisher of Meat Management magazine, Graham Yandell, who said: “We are very excited to bring a truly important event to the widest possible audience in a brand-new online format this year. We have adapted the presentations due to the impact of Covid-19, but it will still honour the fantastic talent we have in the meat sector and I am sure will be very enjoyable too.
“Recognising the vital role women play in this industry has never been more needed, and working with Katharine is a welcome opportunity for me, as she is also a very inspirational sportswoman in her own right, who we as a nation can be very proud of.
“I would also like to pay tribute to our partners who help us to make this event what it is. A big thank you goes out to all of them.
“So the message is set your reminders now and be sure to tune in live just before 4:30pm on 2nd December via the Women in Meat Industry Awards website.”
