Tesco appoints new head of agriculture
Moy Park’s current general manager for broilers, Barney Kay is reported to have been appointed as the future head of agriculture for multiple retailer, Tesco.

Kay will take up the position, formerly occupied by Tom Hind, who left the supermarket giant in May of this year.
Kay is widely reported to be taking up the post in the autumn, although no official announcement has yet been made by Tesco or Moy Park.
Kay’s previous experience includes a two year stint with the NFU as its North East regional director and for five and a half years prior to that he was general manager of the National Pig Association.
