Tulip creates temporary job opportunities in response to Covid-19

Tulip Ltd is preparing to create temporary job opportunities at its sites across the UK for people who have found themselves without work as a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Temporary job opportunities will be available for production operatives and other key roles to provide cover when necessary. Tulip is calling for people impacted by the current situation looking for a temporary role or on those just looking for a temporary opportunity to get in touch.

The pig producer and processor says it is taking all the necessary steps to maintain its supply chain in order to continue delivering food to the nation.

Rachel Baldwin, Vice President Human Resources, states: “Tulip is looking to ensure we have enough people in place to keep our manufacturing sites operating as and when people take time out of work to care for themselves and their loved ones. If you are flexible, have a positive attitude and ready to contribute to keeping food on people’s plates, we would like to hear from you.

“This is an unprecedented time for the UK food industry and we’d like to thank all of our colleagues and staff across the sector who are doing an incredible job to keep up with the current high demand and keeping shelves stocked across the UK.”
