Following Vion's decision to exit the UK it is now restructuring its head office in Eindhoven and Vion ICT Services in The Netherlands with the loss of 40 of its 140 staff. Around 25 people will leave the company and 15 are expected to be made redundant.

Vion said this was: "An essential step resulting from the company’s new course which was announced on 19th November 2012. Vion will continue as two independent divisions, Food (in the Netherlands and Germany) and Ingredients (worldwide). Vion N.V. will become a smaller strategic holding, the size of which will be in line with the new organisational structure. This will increase efficiency and reduce costs. The proposed organisational changes will affect approximately 50 staff in general support departments and ICT."
