The Belfry Hotel & Resort near Birmingham is just 15 minutes from the International Rail Station and minutes away from major motorway links.

The dinner and awards ceremony will move in 2027 and take place at the Belfry Hotel & Resort on 15th September, after locating for several years at The Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

Publisher of Meat Management, Graham Yandell explains: “We have outgrown the Kings Suite at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole and are taking the opportunity to upgrade the guest and partner experience by moving the ceremony event to the fantastic Belfry Hotel & Resort, based in the heart of the Midlands and set in spectacular countryside.

“This move represents a significant investment, but with attendance numbers growing each year and the importance of these industry awards as a major networking event, in fact it is the industry’s biggest annual event, we believe that moving forward and upgrading the facilities for our partners and guests is critical to its continued long-term success.”

The Awards ceremony was a sell-out occasion on 10th September this year.

Yandell pointed out that the Belfry Hotel & Resort is just minutes from the UK’s major motorway and rail networks, approximately 15 minutes from the NEC and Birmingham International Airport and Station, and only 25 minutes from Birmingham City Centre.

In addition, it is only a 70 minute rail journey from central London. There is very substantial free parking at the resort and there are also a range of other hotels a short distance away, adding choice and budget flexibility for those staying overnight.

The Belfry has undertaken a multi-million pound investment recently and its new conference and events centre is hugely popular and regarded as a prestigious location. It is also a world class golfing venue offering three courses and is the prestigious annual setting for The British Masters. The resort has also hosted the Ryder Cup four times.

Yandell continued: “We are also adding value to the dining experience and will be including wine with dinner tickets as from 2027 which hitherto has been a paid extra, rooms are also of an excellent standard and should be cheaper than the Hilton rate, particularly for those booking in good time via our exclusive allocation.

“Finally, for the golfers, and there are many across the UK and Irish industries, we are hoping to negotiate a golfing package and competition on the day of the awards ceremony and we will announce details very soon.

“We are very positive and excited here at Meat Management about this development and there will be more information available in due course. I believe that giving these awards a timely refresh is important and with uptake for partnerships already very strong for 2027 we are looking forward to an outstanding and highly enjoyable occasion.”
