This year’s meat industry awards product judging at Harper Adams University concluded on Friday 26th June, with judges commenting that they were really pleased with the high standard, innovation and range of entries.
Publisher of Meat Management magazine Graham Yandell MBE said: “The annual Meat Management Meat Industry Awards are off to a flying start this year with product nominations and voting well up on the same period last year.
“We are seeing an amazing level of participation and interest again and it is always very rewarding to see the diverse range of products that are entered from all parts of the industry, including major players in retail, manufacturing and foodservice.”
Ceremony event progressing well
Organisers have also revealed that ABP are once again to be this year’s sponsors of the main course at the ceremony and dinner in Birmingham on 3rd September. Yandell added: “We are delighted that ABP have agreed to provide the top quality meat for our main course at the Awards dinner this coming September. The beef main course was superb last year and I know that our guests can once again look forward to a very special event and a unique opportunity to network with colleagues.”
