The 2026 Meat Management Meat Industry Awards product judging process has commenced today [June 24th] taking place at the test kitchens based at the Regional Food Academy located at Harper Adams University.

Hundreds of entries from all corners of the meat industry are being evaluated across 11 categories, with the finalists and winners set to be announced at the prestigious Meat Industry Awards ceremony on 3rd September in Birmingham.
Jenny Bullock, the organiser for the 2026 MM Meat Industry Awards, said: “I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to enter products and also those who have voted in the other categories. We have had a very large entry again this year with many of the biggest industry names participating.”
Keith Fisher of the Institute of Meat, who heads up the judging team, commented: “This a stand-out annual event and I am really looking forward to seeing the range and quality of products entered. Undoubtedly the judging panel will have an enjoyable but busy few days in prospect. Based on previous events, I am sure we have some great products entered and an interesting range to assess.”

Publisher of Meat Management magazine Graham Yandell MBE commented: “The next awards ceremony and black-tie dinner is taking place on 3rd September. This is always a very special evening with excellent networking. Demand for tickets and tables is already high this year, so I recommend an early visit to the website to reserve places for the September ceremony and to take advantage of an early bird booking discount which offer a big saving for those reserving tables now.”
