Countdown to Women In Meat Industry Awards ceremony
With over 7,000 votes received this year for the Women In Meat Industry Awards finalists, anticipation is building ahead of the popular awards ceremony scheduled to take place in London on 18th November.
As excitement builds, the eventual winners will be revealed from the 45 finalists covering 10 categories, including the overall Meat Businesswoman of the Year 2021.
Lead organiser Sharon Yandell has advised booking tickets and tables now without delay to participate in what promises to be another very important and enjoyable occasion for the industry that she described as “this fast growing industry networking event.”
Sharon also described this year’s voting as a phenomenon and commented: “The ongoing reaction surpasses anything else we see for our other industry awards. The unique Women In Meat Industry initiative has definitely captured the imagination and support of many, many people right across the industry – both men and women.”
Jane Bush, the editor of Meat Management magazine added: “The Women In Meat Industry Awards recognise the vitally important contributions that women make to the meat sector. Awards host
Sports personality, Olympic medallist and TV broadcaster Katharine Merry will be the celebrity host for the forthcoming Women In Meat Industry Awards dinner and ceremony. Publisher of Meat Management magazine Graham Yandell said: “We are absolutely delighted that Kath can join us, following her appearance at these awards last year online. I know she will also do a great job at the live in-person event, and I hope as many readers as possible will be attending the awards ceremony and dinner to celebrate with the finalists and winners.
