Dantech UK fights off stiff US competition in export sales
British manufacturer and exporter of food processing equipment, DanTech, has fought off stiff competition in the USA to win major contracts for its form press used on bacon, pork and beef.

Managing director, Colin Turner said: “Recent successes were preceded by sales in China, South East Asia, Africa and more recently in Scandinavia and Chile.
“DanTech’s customers benefit from great British high-quality manufacturing and innovation and regularly compete with others from Switzerland, Germany and Denmark.”
During the past three years production at its site in Thetford, Norfolk has expanded to meet with ever increasing demands and deadlines especially as shipping a machine by ocean freight can sometimes take up to one month.
With microwave technology gaining momentum for a range of food, dairy and none-food applications, DanTech has conducted extensive research and development with its European partners and the Fraunhofer institute of Germany.
