EBLEX communications team grows to meet rising demand
EBLEX has boosted resource in its communications team in response to increasing calls from levy payers and stakeholders for information to help drive the industry forward.

Monisha Singh and Rebecca Veale have joined AHDB’s beef and lamb division as communications officer and technical communications officer respectively.
With a background in internal communications, politics graduate Monisha, joins the team supporting marketing communications, market intelligence output and developments in exports.
Rebecca comes to EBLEX from the NFU where she specialised in digital communications and website management. She will be working closely with the research and development, knowledge transfer and regional teams.
Their appointments will help ensure practical business tools are communicated to levy payers and stakeholders, as well as supporting the work in defending the industry and better communicating to producers and processors the work EBLEX does to benefit the sector.
Last year the communications team, based in the press office at Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, dealt with more than 370 enquiries from trade, national and international media. It is also responsible for proactive news, website, newsletter and social media outputs, as well as supporting all other departments in their work. The new appointments will allow EBLEX to continue to proactively increase output on behalf of the beef and lamb industry.
Earlier this year, the team launched EBLEX TV as a new channel to communicate its wider work with the industry and articulate clear, technical messaging as well as market information.

Their appointments will complement our team, add capacity and make a valuable contribution to our ongoing work with industry, helping to supply business tools and information to help producers and processors improve their efficiency.”
