The BPEX board has, after some discussion, agreed that the dead weight average pig price (DAPP) will be expanded to cover a broader range of the pig market. As a result information from 15 sites covered by 8 pork processors will produce the DAPP.

They processors are H.G. Blake, Cheale Meats Ltd., Cranswick Country Foods, F.A. Gill, Tulip Ltd., Vion, G. Wood & Sons and Woodhead Bros. BPEX has confirmed it will be looking to widen the participants in the near future.
