Great Britain to compete in the Tri-Nations Butcher’s Challenge

Great Britain will compete against Australia and New Zealand in the Tri-Nations Butcher’s Challenge, taking place from 5th – 10th September in Auckland.

The Team GB lineup for the Tri-Nations Butchers challenge this September.

Three six-man teams will be challenged to turn a side of beef and a whole lamb carcase into an original and creative display within two hours. Each team will be judged by a panel of expect industry judges on their preparation, presentation, finishing and display.

In an effort to secure a victory in New Zealand, Team GB have held a number of practice sessions across the country. The final practise will be staged at The Food Academy at Leeds City College on 26th August.

The British team comprise David Lishman (captain), Gary Raeburn, Tom Wood, Chris Glaysher, Maurice Stephenson, Andrew Ayris and Danny Upson.
