Industry urged to secure a seat at Outlook conference

More than 100 delegates have confirmed they will be attending the Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) Outlook Conference 2014.

The conference, jointly hosted by BPEX, DairyCo and EBLEX, will be held at One Great George Street in London on Wednesday, 12th February 2014, and remaining places are reported to be going rapidly.

The event will include an opening address from Food and Farming Minister George Eustice MP, and keynote presentations on supply chain matters by McDonald’s director of supply chain Connor McVeigh and international trade by GIRA director Richard Brown.

The conference will also examine how the UK industry can respond to emerging opportunities and threats, while separate breakout sessions looking at latest forecasts specific to each sector.

Stephen Howarth, AHDB MI market specialist manager and conference programme organiser, said: “Outlook has always been a popular event in the industry calendar and demand to attend this year’s event is again proving to be very strong. With only a few weeks left until the conference, I would urge anyone wanting to attend to book now to avoid disappointment.”
