Marel to host Pork ShowHow 2024 in Copenhagen
Machinery supplier Marel has announced its Pork ShowHow 2024 event, which will showcase the latest in innovative pork processing equipment, software and services.
The event is set to take place on 29th May 2024 at Marel Progress Point in Copenhagen, Denmark, and will follow the theme “Maximising value for higher returns”.
The Pork ShowHow 2024 will focus on offering tangible solutions to enhance efficiency, sustainability and profitability at a time when the pork industry faces unprecedented challenges.
Through hands-on demonstrations, attendees will have the chance to explore innovations across the pork processing value chain, including:
- M-Line Leaf Lard Remover (MLR): Robots that eliminate the need for manual labour and maximise production efficiency, hygiene and ergonomics.
- DeboFlex: An advanced inline modular and flexible system for hanging cutting, and deboning of pig fore-end, middle and leg.
- StreamLine: An intelligent meat deboning and trimming system with real-time performance monitoring and full traceability back to the animal lot.
- SensorX Accuro: X-ray technology that accurately measures fat/lean CL ratio in trim meat and detects bone fragments and other contaminants.
- SpeedBatcher: Creates bulk batches at high speed, automatically weighing raw material into sub-weights, which are then selectively combined.
- ProFIVE meat harvester for pork: A highly adaptable meat harvesting system, producing various meat qualities with outstanding yield.
