Next month, AHDB will host ‘Trading under Covid-19’, to highlight some of the key changes adopted within market access measures during the pandemic.

The webinar, which takes place on the 3rd December, will feature Ouafa Doxon from AHDB’s global supply chain who will provide an overview of some of the global market access measures adopted as a result of Covid-19.

She will be joined by a representative from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, who will present the work undertaken by Defra to prepare for the China Covid-19 remote audit.

This will be followed by a presentation from Cristian Nistor from the Food Standards Agency who will look at how they have adapted to the pandemic by carrying out remote and semi-remote audits.

Ouafa Doxon said: “We are delighted to be joined by Defra and the FSA for this very important webinar around the impact of Covid-19. The presentations will provide exporters with valuable insight into some of the changes made and the lessons learned by key organisations.

“It complements the series of export webinars hosted by AHDB over the past few months, which look at hugely important areas of work, challenges faced by industry as a result of the pandemic and new ways of working as we look to the future.”
