New recipes available from Meat Promotion Wales

New recipes and point of sale material for butchers featuring PGI Welsh Lamb and PGI Welsh Beef are now available from Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotion Wales (HCC).

They include Crumbled Welsh Lamb Cutlets, Hot Welsh Lamb ‘Superfood’ Salad, Welsh Beef Steak with Green Olive Aioli and Welsh Beef Tikka Masala Skewers.

“Our new point of sale has a light, airy feel to coincide with the season,” said Pip Gill, HCC’s Brand Marketing Officer. “The recipe leaflets contain twelve brand new recipes that require little preparation and cooking time. They are also great for cooking indoors or outside on the BBQ, what more could you ask for?”

The leaflets, which include helpful hints and suggest the best cuts of meat to use for particular recipes, will be distributed to members of the HCC Butchers’ Club over the coming weeks and will also be available at multiple retailers.Butchers will also receive promotional posters and stickers.

The Butchers’ Club was set-up to raise the profile of PGI Welsh Lamb and PGI Welsh Beef as well as butchers’ shops in Wales. A full list of members is available on the website, www.eatwelshlamb.co.uk/butchers.
