“Norman’s vision, energy, passion, and drive have been the cornerstone of AIMS for the past 24 years”, said Aldiss.

“Considering Norman’s desire to reduce his day-to-day administrative and management duties, my primary objective is to support him by alleviating some of these responsibilities” he continued.

“Norman will focus on what he does best and enjoys most: championing the causes that matter to our members. As always, he remains at the end of his phone for members chats, help or advice”.

Under Bagley’s stewardship AIMS has grown to become the UK’s largest post-farm gate trade body representing the meat sector, with over 350 members spanning the full spectrum of activities, including red meat, poultry, game, rendering, egg packers and all ancillary support businesses.

“Our commitment to our members remains steadfast: we will continue to expand our service offerings, vigorously defend our industry against detractors, and collaborate with regulators to simplify and enhance our professional lives and the services we provide.”
