Food processing equipment manufacturer DanTech UK has been shortlisted as a finalist for the International Business of the Year 2017 prize at the 2017 E3 Business Awards.
Burscough-based DanTech was selected from amongst hundreds of nominees to become a finalist in the awards that will take at the Macron Stadium in Bolton on 13th July.
Speaking on behalf of the company, managing director, Colin Turner, noted: “Being a finalist gives recognition to the challenging work and dedication from all our staff, sales, marketing, service R & D and, of course, manufacturing that a Lancashire-based SME can reach out worldwide with British goods.”
DanTech, which manufactures equipment including meat form presses, sanitizers and industrial microwave systems, won the Reach award in 2016 at a ceremony organised by the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce for export achievement.
Managing director of 1 Events Media, which hosts the E3 Awards, Mubarak Chati, added: “Each year, it becomes more of an achievement to win a finalist’s place. Every year since we’ve started, we’ve seen an increase in nominations and a corresponding increase in quality.
“For DanTech UK to have been named as a finalist for 2017 is an achievement of which it should be very proud.”
