Eight French chefs used Quality Standard beef and lamb at a top Paris food show to showcase a range of recipes.
Vintage Beef Select and Cottage Lamb ranges, which are supplied to French restaurants, were showcased at the SuccessFood Show in Paris.
The show, which attracts delegates from sectors including commercial and institutional catering, featured the chefs using either beef or lamb to prepare recipes to highlight how to get the best results using the products.
It came just weeks after Quality Standard beef and lamb from England featured at the SIA International Agricultural Show in Paris where delegates, including importers, wholesalers, retailers and butchers had the chance to sample beef and lamb steaks.
Rémi Fourrier, EBLEX export manager in France, said: “Following the positive response we received again at SIA, the SuccessFood Show gave us the opportunity to present Quality Standard beef and lamb to a different audience. Foodservice is an important sector for us and the recipes developed by the chefs using beef and lamb highlighted the products’ quality and versatility.”
Quality Standard beef dishes are also due to be sampled in the VIP lounge at the Egast Show in Strasbourg on March 17. The last show in 2012 featured more than 300 exhibitors and attracted 28,000 visitors.
